We loved working with Sara on my son’s smash cake photos! She was super accommodating… no time limits, extra diapers available, and even a washing area to clean up after all the yummy cake mess! Her turnaround time was quick and the quality of the photos and editing was top tier. We are already looking forward to the next time we get to take photos in her amazing studio.

We had the absolute best experience with SJ Nuzum Photography! Our son, Foster, was chosen to be a model for one of Sara Nuzum’s cake smash sessions, and from the very first message she was incredible to work with. She was upfront and detailed with all the information we needed, clear on her expectations, and transparent about how she would give back to us for participating. Sara was unbelievably kind and gentle with our sweet boy. She provided everything—from the cake and decorations to even offering an outfit—making the entire process so easy and stress-free. Her studio was clean, safe, and so thoughtfully prepared, even including a space for us to bathe Foster after the session. One thing I especially appreciated was how she let me preview the photos and choose my favorites. She even sent us a few sneak peeks the very same night, which meant so much to us. Sara was absolutely amazing and worth every single penny of the investment. We truly cannot recommend SJ Nuzum Photography enough! Sara took our maternity photos for our first baby and then again did a mother/children photoshoot for me that I won through a giveaway! We enjoyed every experience we have had with her and the photos she captures for us. She listens and is attentive to details we want and is willing to make it happen for us. She did a fantastic job interacting with my two girls (2yr and 10mo) and being patient about taking our photos. It was really helpful considering my girls' attitudes were not in the right place that day for posing :) I highly recommend SJ Nuzum Photography!

Sara is a dream to work with and really is an expert at what she does! Having just had a baby I wasn’t my most confident self and she made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Pregnancy is supposed to make you look and feel beautiful, right? I don’t know about other mommas, but this is definitely not how I feel. Most of the time I feel chubby, swollen, and definitely not glowing. I don’t want to remember looking like a whale so I almost didn’t do maternity photos. But Sara was amazing and made me feel totally comfortable the whole time. After I got my pictures I was so blown away—she really made me look so beautiful!! I can’t believe I almost missed this opportunity to document the time carrying my sweet little one, and I will treasure my maternity photos for the rest of my life. Sara then took our newborn photos when our baby arrived and she was so thoughtful, patient, and like a baby whisperer. Our photos are beautiful!!!! And then she came and hung them in our house so I didn’t even have to lift a finger and I get to enjoy them every single day. Working with Sara was an absolute dream! From the start, Sara answered ALL my questions, offered advice when I wasn’t quite sure what I was wanting, and was very open/excited to try some new things I wanted during our shoots.
